Anyone going over the sale this weekend to browse? If so, go by Bluewater Sales & check out a colt I prepped for the sale . Hip 67 Came Home- Glass Hat. Let me know what you think!

Over on the ThoroughbredChampions BB, a poster named Monsmaria has posted pictures of him in a thread under the Breeding forum.

I'm heading over for the sale tomorrow, Mon and Tue...anyone with requirements pm me.

You can watch the sale online at www.fasigtipton.com. To my knowledge sale yearlings are not posted anywhere before the sale, except perhaps on websites maintained by consigning agents.
So Run for the Roses, as fast as you can.....

As of today, I've seen about 300 of them. PM me if you want notes.

So LSB, you've seen the Came Home colt in person? What did you think?

The one Kafwain I saw was unimpressive, a colt out of a Slewacide mare. Can't recall the hip #.

SS,

I know which one you're talking about. He was weak on pedigree too :?

austique, I've seen a couple of Kafwains that looked quite nice. (#177 is one that comes to mind.)

The first year sire whose offspring impressed the most overall was Posse. And I really liked both the Vindication fillies.

Kelly Kip, sorry, I didn't see "your" Came Home. Even having seen so many that still leaves about 175 I missed.

Posse's interesting for sure.

177's one I haven't seen although how I missed him earlier this year is beyond me. I'll have to check him out on the video feed. Thanks LSB!

Pretty interesting today. I caught some of the live feed (around #s 160 to 205, I think). The Kafwains seemed to be selling good at that time ($70k, $73k, $75k, one for a cool $180k, one didn't sell for 35k). The Yonagushkas appeared to be having a bad time of it, though (one not sold for $15k, one for $22k, but God knows there were only two of them in that time frame- others that I missed failed to sell at $35k, $47k, while others sold at $22k $35k $52k, $90k and the classy $235k. Who knows?

Does anyone know when the live feed starts tomorrow so that I can get my lawn chair and beer and watch again? :D

BTW, I'm now sad that I misse the 1mil+ seller by Forestry, just a few numbers past when I quit watching :(
