Is there any way to check on the sales history of a specific horse?
thanks

equineline will do a report that gives you that information if you're willing to pay for it.
The "cheat books" that people use at the sales have that information if you happen to have any lying around that feature the particular horse.
You can often get at least a partial sales history by simply googling the horse, which will bring up auction results from most of the major auction houses.

First do an internet search of the horse. That may lead to lists of Auction results, or at the very least any sale catalog the horse was in. If that doesn't work, the Auction Report on Equineline is only $3.00. But, if the horse hasn't been sold at auction at all, you still pay and get nothing. I was told by the folks at Equineline.com, to give 'em a call first and they will tell you whether or not the horse has been sold at auction, before you buy the report or any other report, like past performances, etc. They have an 800 number and are very helpful.
