Picture taking questions

If you take a picture of a foal/horse, do you need the owner's clearance before selling prints of it? And if so, what should I have them sign off on? I'm trying to start a hobby on the side, and I'm interested in photography, and I upgraded my deviantart account so I can sell prints of photos that the website approves of...

Well, with people, a photographer has folks sign a model release form... I'm sure you could look online and find one that you could tweak to apply to horses...
