How much Dolomitic, or just Calcium Carbonate, does a TB yearling need per day in a calcium deficient area..

First how deficient? What is he getting exactly, you have to also keep track of vitamin D and phosphorus ratios, how much sun, what is in water...And weight of animal, joints conditions, may be even a blood analysis or more. I am a Naturopath and just throwing supplements is not a good idea, you really have to have all the infos.

I am thinking about building a self feer in every paddock and dumping a 40# bag of lime in each one and let the horses decide how much they need
