Hey Group,

I posted this in another section and didnt get any bites so I thought I would try here.Does anyone have any opinions on this filly as a broodmare or about Bertrando as a broodmare sire?Has there been any potentially potent nicks with Bertrando mares?Any insights are as always appreciated.

Hi Ryeno,

The one good un' out of a mare by the very young stallion Bertrando is Sunshine Million Oaks Victor Silent Sighs, who is by Alydar's son Benchmark.

To me the 3x4 to T. V. Lark in the mare pushes even harder in that direction as the oddly named and tough (72 starts) turfer traced back to the same strong Ruddy Light Calumet female line as Alydar. Not sure how often it (Alydar/TV Lark) has been tried; but they have combined in Silent Sighs and the G2W/G3W Buckley Boy.
