While looking for Roving Boy videos I found ALL of Landaluce's races on you tube!!!
What a treat.
Here are the links.

PS..I was actually in attendance at both the Lassie and Oak Leaf(I lived in California at that time). I will never forget that filly. She was special, and sadly somewhat forgotten about. I remember that some even contemplated that she could have given the great Ruffian a run for her money.

Sadly, I didn't find any you tube videos for Roving Boy. cry

Roving Boy was a talented horse and a tremendously courageous horse - glad to see he is not forgotten!

Landaluce is from the time I really got into horseracing, my superabsorbent teenage brain could memorize entire early 80s stallion registers , I remember Roving Boy, Timely Writer, Before Dawn etc. Back then my screen name would have just been oliver.

I shall never forget L, i made a habit of going by her stall to see her, a tragic ending. L pedhas clusters of NP nuggets that gave her the soundness of steel underpining. Be well my love, i miss u.

Louis let's not turn this into a P/NP debate. PLEASE. Stick to your other thread for that.
This is a tribute to a too soon lost and somewhat forgotten champion.
