Breeders' Cup GSV Averages

I just finished doing the GSV scores for the Pre-entries for the Breeders' Cup
As in previous years, I produce a Breeders' Cup GSV racecard as an extra handicapping tool. Interestingly, the Classic this year is not the race with the highest GSV average. This year it is the Filly & Mare Turf race.

And I am proud to announce that the product of one of my matings and the top class breeder Virginia Kraft Payson is in that race, Rutherienne. She is a top class runner, but this good....that might be a stretch. However, without a doubt she goes through the smallest holes I have ever seen a horse attempt, let alone succeed, time after time.

With the defections and choosing which race to enter the Filly and Mare Turf no longer has the highest GSV average. The top 3 races by average GSV is now:

Filly and Mare Turf = Average GSV = 73.14

Turf Classic = Average GSV = 73.86

Classic = Average GSV = 73.64
