Oh snap I had Man of Iron, Mastery, AND Cloudys Knight on my Darby Dan. Wish I went to the track.

So did my hubby .......... and he was very pleased. After the second race we were actually tied even though we had vastly different picks. Great turnout for the contest.

Good luck to everyone tomorrow!

563....not too bad...today could have been better. I should have had tapitsply..that would have out me in the 600's. Tomorrow will be better though....I have some nice live long shots...Smile

I did have Tapitsfly, Midday and Informed Decision, as well as Forever Together, dear old Cloudy and Mastery. 467 so far. All that bumping in the Juvenile Fillies killed me, and the self destruct of Careless Jewel didn't help either.

Yeah...I needed Negligee really bad. Thought she would run big...and she tired and bumped pretty bad. That killed me as well. Sad

Well I cooled off after that 1st race, so I'm sitting with 650 in a stalkers position.

Yes Negligee was a killer. It looked to me that she was trying to accelerate but momentarily lost purchase on the track. She came on quite nicely after, so I won't hold it against her. It's all part and parcel of 2 yo racing.

Just eagerly checked the website but no updates yet for today. I had quite a few winners - California Flag, Furthest Land, Conduit, Goldikova, Zenyatta but where I had a winner my other two choices seemed to come in close to last, so I guess I won't have to worry about where to find a mare.

Think I need Lasix next year because I "stopped badly".

Well, you might be momentarily stellar, but in the long term it'll be bad for your bones.

I'm currently 22nd with 1150 pts. Only 128 pts behind the leader! Not too shabby! And still races to calculate.

Very good, Valley Girl, I only have 746. I'm not bad at picking winners, but along with those winners, I seem to have a genuine talent for picking the horse that comes last in every race.

I see Nobiz's fee has been reduced to 2500 dollars. Maybe another prize - greatest number of last place finishers gets a season to him?

I did quite badly the second day Sad but still, they jipped me some points or they arent finished yet. I got points for the turf, but 0 for PP, second place???? I know some races havent been tabulated yet, but I got points in a race for some horses, but not for the place horse? Weird, whatever. But I wouldnt have won anyways, what happened to my picks day 2 Sad Now I dont have to buy a mare or breed mine Smile

OMG I think I got into fifth place. I'm currently 12th but I noticed I did not get my 35 pts for Precious Passion who race second and I had in my stable. With those pts added in that would put me in 5th. I contacted Darby Dan to have them make the correction.

Even so..it's still exciting to have been able to place so well. They said they're working on the issue. Points are still not correct so if others were jipped points then it may not even benefit me.

...or maybe they made a mistake the other way on the others pushing you to the Sun King zone! Anyway goodluck and if not scroll past ALLL those names you beat as a consolation prize and next year take your picks to the track.
