Victory Speech mare

Postby hotrod horses » Tue Feb 09, 2010 5:46 am

I have been looking at Barbican, Monba and Pure Precision for this mare. She was retired July 4th '09 after 90 starts, Conformationaly they all are pretty equal, her name is Foreal. I have been leaning towards Barbican but would like some input.

If you're breeding to race Pure Precision is the only proven horse in that group. He would be the way to go.

Although, I do love Monba's prospects for the future. I don't know what he looks like, but what a great pedigree and he had talent.

And Barbican has the best pedigree cross with your mare, but when breeding to race, it's usually counter-productive to breed to an unproven stallion.

Good luck!

I like Pure Precision the best out of these three choices. Best of luck to you whichever you choose! :)

She's going to Pure Precision, sent contract back just before the farm manager change was let out of the bag.
