| Hmmm, I managed a farm where we stood his full brother, Abel Prospect. Abel got sent to NY after a few yrs and later, I heard, S America. One of Abel's foals went to Germany as yearling - that is a rarity from IL! |

I've had no luck locating a photo of this guy. You might want to check out the TVG community at TVG.com They have a discussion forum of "history and old photographs, and one of the members keeps coming up with amazing photos. If anyone could find a photo of Black Prospector it would be Mudmont.
