Decisions, Decisions...

This year is shaping up interesting, since my last foal is due April 13 giving me potentially 11 mares to breed.

I've got seasons to:

Elite Squadron (LFG)
The Daddy (NG)
Will He Shine (NG)
Star Dabbler (NG)
and I have a friend who owns a horse named Mocha Joe that I could get a mare to..

and of course my own very good horse, Rocking Trick.

My first thought is to go for the open mares first for the outside stallions, especially the NG seasons:

Capable Miss
Express to Boston
Ground Queen
Oro Caliente
Smoldering

and two maiden fillies, Miss Punctuality and Rock Ballerina..

but the foaling mares are all due pretty early:

Miss Ballet due 3/28
Peaceful Treaty due 4/6
Militant Maid due 4/6
Glenfiddich Fire due 4/13

I'm leaning toward:

Express to Boston - Will He Shine
Oro Caliente - Elite Squadron

but am really wrestling with the rest. Any opinions out there?

I thought Militant Maid wasn't carrying a foal...didn't you mention she slipped or something?

Looking through your messages and was reminded that you bred her back to Rocking Trick. Boy are the years flying boy, I can't even keep track! Scary! Good luck with your decisions!

Ground Queen to The Daddy....if she has good feet and passes them on. Valid Expectations throws small feet from time to time.
