What do Layup prices advertised include? I assume they include feed, stall/paddock, mucking... but how about daily grooming? walking etc?
thank you |

There are no absolutes so you need to clarify with the facility you are interested in. That said, my advertised lay up prices implied a horse with no medical needs so it would include all feed, bedding, turn out, grooming etc. If the horse needed hand walking and cold hosing for example that would be an additional charge. _________________ http://www.facebook.com/pages/McDowell-Racing-Stables/189840138971 |

Thank you laurierace.
I've seen layups (for racers - I assume) advertised at certain price and I have also seen boarding (sport horse) prices advertised... I somehow assumed the race horse owners utilizing layup - will not come to groom/work with their horse daily as opposed to sport horse owners who come (hopefully) and groom and exersise their horse.
And I wanted to ask - the race Layups seem much less than the boarding for sport horses and so I was wondering where the price difference comes from.
Thank you
