I find it interesting that three of the six races on the Dubai World Cup program were won by horses from lesser sire lines still managing to survive.
Dubai Gold Cup winner:
OPINION POLL x Halling/Diesis/Sharpen Up/Atan/Native Dancer
Dubai Duty Free winner:
CITYSCAPE x Selkirk/Sharpen Up/Atan/Native Dancer
Dubai Sheema Classic winner:
CIRRUS DES AIGLES x Even Top/Topanoora/Ahonoora/Lorenzaccio/Klairon/Clarion/Djebel/Tourbillon ... Byerley Turk 1679 _________________ "He is pure air and fire and the dull elements of earth and water never appear in him; he is indeed a horse ..." Wm. Shakespeare - Henry V |

| Sometimes I wonder if pedigree/genetics ebb and flow-if that is the natural order of things. Just when a line seems to fade, up pops a good one or two. |
