Thought you might like to see a little video of my 17 day old little orphan Amber.
She is the UK's first Palomino TB filly by Electrum out of Samba Beat (by Efisio)
Her mum had to be pts shortly after she was born ...my vet thinks she had part of her intestine trapped as her foal was pushing through her pelvis which gave her septicimea and then Toxic shock...we are devastated losing her
We tried with a fostermare but she wasn't maternal at all ...so we are raising her on powdered milk and my old gelding Troy has now got the task of looking after her and teaching her to be a horse
Just to add..my other half Philip had his orders to keep walking even though he has recently had a plaster cast removed from his leg and has a plate and several screws holding his ankle together..he feels a bit vulnerable with horses carreering around him..even little ones lol |
