Adore this colt by Bliss MF (Balou du Rouet / Argentinus) out of TCF Nightlight smoky black TB mare (Guaranteed Gold / Puchi Trap)

I loved the foals of his that I saw in past foal crops and adore this colt of mine that was born this morning

Was hoping for buckskin or smoky black but bay will do just fine as well! Smile

Doggone it, I looked at the Mare Stare first thing this morning and she was just standing around looking bored! I should have checked back in!

Lovely baby, TC! Spectacular even!

Beautiful colt! And so fascinating that you appear to still have beautiful head shape of Guaranteed Gold coming through and a big wow at how Puchi Trap's color genes are popping up in this next generation. It is almost as if they were subdued a bit in Nightlight and came out with a big "pop, look at me" in her colt!

Lovely foal Congrats.
The balou De Rouets also throw very loud foals when crossed with LP carriers!

Great! Best of all, that this valuable mare produced a healthy foal and that she came out great! This mare has a very auspicious/interesting future. Congratulations!

WOW, cute! Almost looks buckskin. Have to wait and see. Love how the DW came through. She must have some suppressor genes and didn't pass them on. Do you have a link to Bliss?

Sure do summerhorse ... here it is:

http://marabetfarm.us/id21.html

He is a really really neat stallion in every possible way ... Smile

I am 99% certain he is bay and not buckskin. I could test of course but there are too many red tones to it around his bum and Ive never seen a buckskin come out with the red shades in there

ak1 - it is felt that Guaranteed Gold "suppresses" what the dam (Puchi Trap by Puchilingui) COULD have produced if she hadnt been bred to a colour suppressing stallion (GG). Her foals SHOULD have looked like Ben. But ... what is now happening with all of them that are of breeding age, is that THEIR foals are coming out very wild looking, whether they are bred to plain stallion, some with a bit of white on them and some with a lot

The Faux Finish mare produced a snow white, nary a dark hair on her, filly this year by a stallion named Grande Leviticus who has 4 stockings and a blaze. Four Feet of Snow is beign bred to 2 or 3 mares (coincidentally by Panoramic!) this year so will be VERY interesting to see what he throws with them. They have some white - like a star and a sock, but nothing more than that. With Panoramic as their sire and FFoS as the covering sire the expectation is that they will emerge looking like this colt

Nightlight is being bred back to Panoranic for a 2013 foal - it is again anticipated that it *should* look like this year's colt as well

Thanks for the nice comments everyone! Smile
