Ben: Mint is a natural remedy to open up our tb air Passages. It dilates the airways. Clenbuterol is not the answer. You place 2 tea bags of mint into the jar on the resperator mask. Herbs are in Clenbuterol is out.
Mint may grow merrily, but that does not mean its properties are not a matter of the chemical components in its leaves and stems.

Just because something can grow in your yard does not make it benign or "drug-free". Consider foxglove.

And just what is "natural"?

Here's an emoticon drinking mint tea:
...now we have emoticons hitting the bottle on this thread! Rolling Eyes

The lack of med,s and or drugs, aswell as proper race tracks. These are helpfull for a long career, and in no way your Phalaris fobie.

Aren't we overdue for a well-aged obituary?

Although some of you feel that the forum rules do not apply to you when posting in this thread, I'm here to remind you that they do. Below is a reminder of some specific rules that you need to keep in mind:

Quote:
2. Please place your threads in the correct forum and try to keep all posts on topic to that particular thread.
The forums are a wonderful source of information and support for our members. If you wish to share information or search for input on non-horse topics about which members might have a similar level of knowledge, please post in the appropriately titled off-topic forum. Please resist the temptation to hijack threads in any forum; instead you can create a spin off thread; placed in it's appropriate forum location.

3. Keep conversations productive, on topic and civil.
Discussion and disagreement are inevitable and encouraged; personal attacks, diatribes and sniping comments are unproductive and unacceptable. Whether a subject is light-hearted or serious, keep posts focused on the current topic and of general interest to other participants of that thread. Utilize the private message feature or personal email where appropriate to address side topics or personal issues not related to the topic at large.

5. Respect and help the moderators.
As members are often passionate about their beliefs and intentions can easily be misinterpreted in this type of environment, try to explore or resolve the inevitable disagreements that arise in the course of threads calmly and rationally. If you see a post that you feel violates the rules of the board, please notify one or more of the moderators assigned to the forum where the perceived violation occurs. They will then take whatever action they deem appropriate for the situation. Do not ever air grievances regarding other posters or the moderators in the discussion forums.

Understand that the moderators exist to maintain a generally informative and enjoyable forum for the exchange of ideas, information and opinions. The moderators’ decisions are final and while you may not always agree with them, respect that such actions are done in the best interest of the board, based upon a number of factors, not always readily apparent to you. If you question the handling of a situation, contact a moderator privately and respectfully, in order to discuss it. However, realize that a moderator is under no obligation to and in some cases is simply not able to discuss some of these situations in detail.

Harassing, stalking, or threatening a moderator in any way, either publicly or privately, is cause for immediate permanent suspension of posting privileges on this forum.

9. We reserve the right to enforce and amend the rules.
The moderators may delete, edit, move or close any post or thread at any time, and may suspend or revoke a user’s posting privileges at any time to maintain adherence to the rules and the general spirit of the forum. This is at the discretion of the moderators. These rules may be amended at any time to address the current needs of the board. Realize that the moderators have no control over your pedigree side membership, and revocation of posting privileges in the forums in no way affects your membership privileges on the pedigree side of this site.

A spin off emoticon thread has been moved to the "Off The Wall" forum. If you are posting to share and/or discuss different emoticons, you need to do so on that thread.

Yep, we were overdue for a cheery old obituary, proving nothing, and possibly implying Bad Things about the breeder.

Louis, you do realize that Hancock stood Bold Ruler, don't you? The horse is buried behind the farm office.

I suggest that coarse, obscene language is a problem on this forum, not emoticons, and that the crudities need some cleaning up.

Bull Hancock was a Master Breeder, he knew when to use an outcross. BH bred three of his Champions by Bold Ruler using those NP outcross mares.

BH brought in the outcross thru those mares, not the unrelated stallions. His 3 Champions were:

WAJIMA b. C, 1972---Bold Ruler---Iskra, by Le Haar, Ph. over Swynford
LAMB CHOP ch. F, 1960---Bold Ruler---Sheepsfoot, by Count Fleet, Ph. over Sundridge.

GAMELY b. F, 1964---Bold Ruler---Gambetta, by My Babu, Ph. over Tourb illon.

Bold Ruler was arthritic, before he ran he was walked for 1 hour with a blanket, to warm up out of his stiffness.

Do you have any proof, from a vet, that arthritis is hereditary in horses? Please post it, in detail, not as somebody told you that it might have been, in a conversation while leaning over the track rail. I'm sure there is all kinds of in print proof of this if so.

Undefeated CAMELOT won today's Epsom Derby with ease - 11 of 16 5-gen-sire-lines trace to Phalaris, even more a typical "Euro-FB" inbreeding to Northern Dancer (3x5x5).
