Risque Remarque. Hmmmmmm....is Calumet using him as a Sport Horse stallion?

That's about the only thing they should use him for. No racing ability in there.

They could be introducing him into racing. Not a bad idea if you have the money to spend on it.

RISQUE REMARQUE (Black h 2006) http://www.pedigreequery.com/risque+remarque
Quite auspicious breeding niche waiting to be explored within the TB industry. He possesses the official rare coat color; appropriate pedigree reunion of flamboyant horses with traditional all-time greats; nice looking stamp along with the potential of attracting other TB related disciplines.
The question to be asked here is: why not?

I would be more of a believer if I saw this horse under tack doing his intended job--either over fences, on the event or foxhunt chase, or in the dressage ring.
Re: Colored Thoroughbred to stand at Calumet Farm
I agree. There are plenty of colored thoroughbreds out there that have proven themselves. Why Risque? Remarquez has proven himself far more than Risque, and his sons are already at the track. Hidden Remarq is scheduled to race tomorrow, October 6 at 1:45 at Finger Lakes in NY. We'll see how he does.
There is also Blue Eyed Streaker and his lines, as well as the Australian blood of Profile In Style. I wonder how much they bought Risque for, because I saw Remarquez (with a 60% or greater pass of overo foals, and frankly, much nicer looking in my opinion...) up for $25,000.00 not too long ago.
I've always been a fan of Remarquez. One of the nicest looking overo horses out there.

He wasn't on the 2015 roster.

I believe he is still there but not advertised. I'm guessing maybe the guy just liked him. It would be a shame not to offer him as a sport sire though. Or for paints.
