Wow, eight new sires for 2015 sired by Tapit.
Almost all of them (except Winchill) are carrying Tapit’s color.
Call that prepotent influence.

I like He's Had Enough, he has a very strong female family.

Yesterday, Frosted became a GR I winner, to add to the list for Tapit. What a remarkable sire Tapit is.

Third year in a row at the top of the Sire list. And with a new record for progeny earnings.

In the last 30 years, has there been a stallion to top the sire statistics three years in a row? I don't recall off the top of my head.

Tapit continues to excel as a sire, with another classic winner this year. There is an interesting article in the Bloodhorse by Steve Haskin, that I think is worth reading:

It pokes a hole in the betting rule, "always bet on the gray"... now, they're turning up in multiples every race!
I wonder if Tapit will become the new Native Dancer, where his name will be in every pedigree a few generations from now?
