Wildwoodsgreatest

Postby madelyn » Thu Oct 06, 2016 8:14 am

I met some lovely people back in July who came to my farm and got into a couple of three year old fillies I had been trying desperately to get into training. A relationship evolved and in August they picked a horse out to claim named Wildwoodsgreatest. We ran him back quickly at Ellis and discovered a few quirks and issues; he got a decent 3rd on Sept 9 at Belterra in fetlock deep mud after he quit running twice because of mud clump kickback. We are now morning line favorite tomorrow in the 1st at Belterra. This horse is a solid campaigner hopefully he can pull us off a nice win.

Safe trip Madelyn - hope all goes well. Early in the card, may miss the mud ...

Well he kind of just missed (1-1/4 length closing fast, ran out of real estate) and has actually gone to a new home. Sorry to see him go.

Nice people :D sorry the horse is gone.
You should have fun with Bel in a few years and I hope the fillies run well for you later this year. Maybe mine will be ready to run around the same time and we can all connect at the track

Thanks - my two "big" girls are going to have their first work Friday. We've been doing gate work and I'm trying to get the tattooer to make the trip out.
