This girl is heavily inbred - and a terrific runner.
http://www.pedigreequery.com/sweet+loretta2

In the 5th generation, only 12 of her 32 ancestors have no match elsewhere in the pedigree, some multiple times (4x MP)

Would be great fun to figure out how try to breed her. Love the inbreeding to Unbridled on the dam side both top and bottom.

Anybody for a Total Outcross if you could find one?

How about Musketier for an outcross?

Give the Pope and the King of England a horse and in thirty days, they'll be stealing halters.

Nah. Tiznow.

It's not exactly an outcross, but he's doing well with AP Indy-line mares, definitely doing well with Storm Cat, and it would bring in a return of the blue hen mare Moon Glitter.

Inbreeding the Mr. P X Buckpasser cross looks like it works with The Factor. Line up the Woodman mares.

Not sure if she's been mentioned before, but I ran across this horse while looking at ancestors of Kentucky Oaks Runners:

Elizabeth M. http://www.pedigreequery.com/elizabeth+m5
She's 2Sx2Dx3D to Lawyer and 3Sx4D to Blind Play

I thought I recognized that name, my mare is her tail female decedent.

Hello,
it was pretty quiet at this Topic.

So I can give you an "update" about "Adler". he will run next Sunday at the "Silbernes Pferd", Group 3, 3000 meter at Hoppegarten (near Berlin)

Masar (New Approach-Khawlah by Cape Cross) is bred 3x4 Urban Sea +
3x4 Ahonoora

From the "Alveole" Family during the 60's is the dam of Arratos (by Kronzeuge) 2x2 Alchimist

The mare in the original post was apparently bred to Into Mischief for 2018 foal.
So Run for the Roses, as fast as you can.....

This article on the thoroughbred racing/horsemanship of Gen. George S Patton is interesting. Some serious inbreeding here!

Hello,
I haven't posted for a longer time.

Laccario (Scalo-Laccata by Lomitas), he is bred 3x3 Laurea (herself dam of Lando and his HB Laroche, both German Derby winners). A closer look reveals , he is 5x5x5x5 Literat/Liberty FB/FS. His sire Scalo is by Lando
3x3 Literat/Liberty, his damsire is Exit to Nowhere, his dam is Coup de Folie
3x3 Almahmoud
Laccario recently won the "Union Rennen" (2200 meter, Group 2), the most imported prep race before the "German Derby" in about 2 weeks.
