After his debut at Oaklawn on the fifth of April, our gelding is now at Prairie Meadows, entered in a maiden claiming six furlong race and full field of twelve. Race is Friday the 18th at about 8:44 pm CDT, race six, pp9, with D.R. Williams up.

Yes, absolutely good luck. With all of the myriad setbacks that can befall a foal, it's wonderful to read about them getting to the races. Let us know how he fares.

Well, let's put it this way: "Yuck! MUD!"

Ghost Hunt never even got into the bit when he came out of the gate and faced splashing mud in his face. He tried to stay as far away as he could by taking a NINE-wide path around the turn. Needless to say, he did not make any money. Hopefully he will learn from the experience, however. Maybe we will too. Embarassed

That's ok, lots of them don't like mud. Throw the race out, hope he came out of the race ok, and onward to the next start.
