This year's Grosser Pries Von Baden Baden will be a tiff btw the 17-horse field German Derby victor and SingSpiel's colt Eastern Athem and
Monsun's 6 yo Getaway..this is like a battle of red cliff...and my feeling is Wiener Walzer, the 4 for 4 son of Dynaformer, will romp home
amidst the uproars of its grandstand fans.

I eat crow on this German intl event..Getaway bagged another G1, beating Eastern Anthem by 3 lenths and stopping the
clock at 2:36.03. The field is small with 6 runners. 3rd is the mighty Youmzain whose dual-derby winner father Sinndar
must have got him some support on loyalty ground in this race...Wiener Walzar finished outside of minor placing 4th
...quite a disappointment for the German Derby winner.

This is the 2nd G1 success for Monsun's 6 yo hare Getaway. It won the German G1 Deutscheland Pries in July.

Sulamani 3yo colt Mastery won UK St Leger....beating favorite Kite Wood by 3/4 length..Monitor Closely another 3/4 length
behind 3rd...John Oxx trained Mourayan finished 5th...time 3:04.81.

John Oxx trained Alandi, Galileo 4 yo son, won Curragh's St Leger by 1/2 length..time : 3:14.82. Famed 8 yo stayer Yeats
was last in the field of 8...has Yeats been given the last straw too ? Likely.
