And Yet Another Super Classic Filly!

Postby Patuxet » Sun Feb 14, 2010 8:52 am

In India Jacqueline has become the only filly to win the first four Indian classics -- the 1000 Guineas, 2000 Guineas, Indian Oaks and Indian Derby. In winning the last one she set a new course and race record.

To see all four races click on this link and scroll down to " Little girl Jacqueline rises to the occasion".

I thought that was Richard Hughes on her.

A copy of the Peter Harris silks as well.

Nice story, sad to hear what has happenned to Hawk Wing, some horse.

Them Coolmore people have no class, Englishmen parading as Irishmen, they should be run out of this country.

Hallo,

what's not so obvious at first sight. Jacqueline has a German breeding background. She is from the direct damline of the German Sire Tiger Hill (by Danehill).

Nice to see a German line has some success in a uncommon surrounding like India.

best regards from Germany, Bettina
