First crop Buzz stallion of 2011

Postby Derby2004 » Wed Feb 16, 2011 3:16 pm

Honestly, I have been a lil disappointed with the amount of good things I'm hearing about the stallions whose first foals hit the track this year. I really have only heard good things about Scat Daddy, Purim, Flashy Bull and Latent Heat. Anyone hear about any others or anything about those 4?

FWIW I know someone with a Scat Daddy who believes that she is a complete running freak.

Have a mare from Pomeroy's family who is for sale . . . Hope he does well!

Also hoping Stormello hits (with several of the few foals who will be in his 1st crop).

Pomeroy is a second crop sire, therefore doesn't belong in this thread. It is for sires with their first crop in 2011.

Pomeroy had another stakes winner today. Golden Springs won the Island Fashion stakes at Sunland. Great weekend for the guy

We have a nice Bob and John colt and a lovely Corinthian filly we are excited about. Also agree that the Scat Daddy and Flash Bull babies are nice. We have a Purim 2yo in training here that could be the best looking colt I've seen in 10 years. However, I don't expect the owners to run him early. I bought some of those shares in Temple City who like Purim is a son of Dynaformer. Not too much Roberto left out there. Hopefully these 2 horses can produce.

Anyone seen or heard anything on Invasor (Arg) babies?

Our mare, Pinpoint Control is going to Scat Daddy this year. Sure hope his 2yos do well!
