A three year old Legal Jousting (IRE) colt that I bred won a MSW at Woodbine today!

After several close efforts, and a race last time out that he should have won, but propped at the spot where the starting gate had been in a previous race - Red Eagle finally came through with his second win!

The Eagle has certainly landed in 1.09,surely he can win a few more after that exhibition? Watching the replay he seemed to lose concentration at the furlong pole when he switched back to his inside lead and cocked his head,then he righted himself and carried on fine. Well done.

Red Eagle looked like he was having a lot of fun winning that race - the word came to my mind wathing the replay was 'scampering home' - so relaxed and very much in control! Good race!

Thanks all! It's pretty exciting, especially owning the stallion. He is entered again on Wednesday in a NW3 (Ontario sired).
