The horse was running for $7,500 claiming at the end so I think the last poster was right on.
Clearly you've overpaid for this dud you're trying to flip as a stud. |

Actually most of the claiming horses I have been involved with selling privately sold for 50% of the last claiming price, so you are right. The price of this horse should be $3750. _________________ So Run for the Roses, as fast as you can..... |

Exactly. The 'market value' of horses is often much less than the claiming price they're running for. |
