Hauled Found Her down to Sacramento yesterday, got there just in time for Doctor Nick to palpate her and find a big follicle ready to breed.
Called back this afternoon and Found Her was covered by Gotham City this morning. Hopefully I'll get a runner as good or better than King City Kitty:)
I was amazed to see Gotham City, I don't think I've ever seen a bigger taller TB stud, massive big boned horse, hopefully the foal won't be to big to run, but if it is, it will make a great dressage horse or jumper for me.
The resulting foal will be most linebred 4x4 Buckpasser, but next will be most linebred to Man O' War, I hope lots of him comes through!
Horse Inbreeding Stats Crosses Lines Blood% Influence AGR
BUCKPASSER 4d x 4D 2 2 (1) (1) 12.50% 4x4 14.50%
MAN O WAR 8s x 9s x 7S x 7S x 8S x 9D x 9d x 7D x 9D x 7D x 7D 11 7 (4) (3) 5.47% 5x6 5.27%*
This is classic; breed the best of the sire's dam back to to him.
The sire's damsire: what is 'In Reality' notorious for? He's linebred 3x3 War Relic by Man O' War. Found Her brings 3x3 Buckpasser, and Buckpasser's damsire is War Admiral by Man O' War.
Breeding back to the damsire in a round about sort of way. |

Good Luck Jeff! I have a Gotham City (o/o a Northern Afleet mare) due any night. Prospector line mares seem to be the ticket for Gotham City. I'm looking for a little size increase as my mare is 15-3. Best time of the year, unless you're doing the foaling! _________________ "He's by Damon Runyon out of a Don Rickles mare," Actor Jack Klugman |

Thanks Jeff! I went out to look at her today (she is technically due tomorrow), and she is in a holding pattern! She just has the beginnings of a bag, so I'm probably will be a week or so away. I'll post up a pic or two when she foals. _________________ "He's by Damon Runyon out of a Don Rickles mare," Actor Jack Klugman |

Looked up Afleet Desire's hypo mating with Gotham City, looks like you could get a King City Kitty too out of that cross. If she foals tomorrow on my birthday, I guarantee the foal will be a stakes winner
How's her yearling Thisnearlywasmine looking? |

Fastappy-
Please keep us posted on your SA mare that you've sent to Thorn Song. I also have an SA mare that is 4x4 ND and heavy with Nasrullah. I am also sending her to an Unbridled line stallion this year as I believe it works well with SA specifically. |

Jeff & CT2346, now I'm even more excited about the pending foal as you guys have reaffirmed my reasoning for making that cross! Now this mare has to come through for me. I can always blame her if the foal doesn't meet expectations. I have Kalookan Dream booked Slew's Tiznow.
CT2346, Stormy Atlantic as a broodmare sire has 7SW's from 122 foals, and it appears to me he could be a very good broodmare sire as is many of the Storm Cats.
CT2346, who's you SA mare if you don't mind saying? _________________ "He's by Damon Runyon out of a Don Rickles mare," Actor Jack Klugman |
