Well, maybe I wasn't clear. It was too fast (too fast too fast) AND a lack of 2yo experience. Just that little bit more bottom might have got him to the wire in front. OR a tad slower to the 6f, so that he used less anerobic energy. Despite both shortcomings - he ran an awesome race. I really hope he stays sound because this one is legit, just as long as his heart holds out, being pushed so hard and just losing.
