TM FRED TEXAS clicked 2000 meters on dirt in 2:17:17 seconds.

Is it appropriate to express that there are only 17 seconds of speed difference
between a Thoroughbred and an Arabian bred horse up to 10 furlongs?

How distanced apart would you considered the difference between the speed
of a Thoroughbred and the speed of an Arabian horse?

Are these events trying to par these two breeds for future mix competition?

Is that possible from a realistic perspective?

I don't have the 1 1/4 record time for Arabs in my head, but 1:46 is the record time for a mile for Arabs. The record is held by an Egyptian (as in foaled and raced in Egypt, not a Nazeer inbred in this country) named Balance.

That is a curious pedigree. I saw San Lou Romirz in the late 1970s, and he was a racehorse, but not one of the first rank.
