I'm interested in this breeding theory; any stallions out there that are void of RAN,ND ? _________________ knowledge is power

Possibly the Ramsey's farm. Maybe Claiborne.
Dynaformer didn't sire that many good stallions. His mares were good. You'd need to be breeding for stamina. The early developing types wouldn't be free of those lines. That would stop you from breeding for the market. If you plan on racing your own your choices open up a bit. |

I am not doing any breeding at this time-just want to discuss it. I understand that Put It Back is an outcross here... _________________ knowledge is power |

| By Louis' theory, he isn't. He still has Bold Ruler and Northern Dancer. |

Hello,
you have to travel over the "Big Pond" and here in Germany stands Monsun (Konigsstuhl - Mosella by Surumu). This Sire is completely free of ND and RAN.
He is a very successful Stallion in my homecountry with more than 40 induvidual Groupwinners.
Two other sons of Konigsstuhl, both are FB are Laveron/Lavirco (had to be putdown in Nov. 2009)
Regards, Bettina |

Not sure why people think outcross blood to those lines would automatically mean two turn stamina types. Quite a few of the pure speed lines came from sources other than ND and MP.
In Kentucky there's a few complete outcrosses to Northern Dancer and Mr. P.

Sweet Return has RAN in the 5th remove.
His damsire is by Claude Monet, a son of Affirmed x Exclusive Native x RAN. _________________ "He is pure air and fire and the dull elements of earth and water never appear in him; he is indeed a horse ..." Wm. Shakespeare - Henry V |
