In by One (Lost Soldier) gave birth to a healthy filly in the middle of the Pennsylvania snowstorm Sunday morning.
We are particularly excited by this one, as she's the first foal by our stallion Five Eighty Four (Miswaki).
Between the 2 parents, they have about 6 square inches of white... and so far it looks like the little one got NONE of it. Solid, spotless bay. (can't wait to do the paperwork on this one.... drawing markings is easier than photographing "night eyes" !!)
Waiting for the snow to retreat enough to so she can get outside for a photo shoot. Bay mare and Bay filly in dim stall do NOT make for good viewing. |

Congrats.. I just *love fillies (sigh).. now if my mare (due Jan 25th) would just let the little bugger out. She will be a year pregnant in five more days. _________________ So Run for the Roses, as fast as you can..... |
