| Dam of 1) top class racehorse Bell-Air (winner of Jockey Club Purses between 1791 and 1793, and very successful stallion, notably as sire of Bellona, dam of top class racehorse Sir William and grandam of great racehorse Henry); of 2) the outstanding racemare Calypso, winner of many Jockey Club Purses between 1796 and 1799; and of 3) Napoleon, which In October 1805, when running a 4 mile heat at Washington in which he had just entered the final mile when leading his field under a hard pull, he was killed when "throwing out the round bone";
as the horses he was leading at the time included Maid of the Oaks, [Ogle's] Oscar, Top Gallant and Floretta, all good racers, if Napoleon had indeed won the race in the style he appeared to be at the time of his fatal injury, he may have been a high class racehorse indeed
