1935 Melbourne Cup
International breeder and bloodstock agent Andrew Robertson imported both sire and dam in a deliberate attempt to create a Melbourne Cup winner. Sold to Fell & Hogan six months before the Melbourne Cup, on the promise if training continued with Lou Robertson, he would win the Cup. Owner Joseph Fell died the next day. One of the few horses to win a Melbourne Cup and later sire a winner: Skipton
