After two seasons in England (which included third place finish in Epsom Derby), Noor was sold to Seabiscuit owner Charles S. Howard for 1949 racing, where he became the California based arch-rival of Citation, whom he defeated four times. First horse to win both Big Cap and Long Cap in the same year (1950), beating Citation both times. Retired to Howard's ranch in December 1950. Hall Of Fame 2002. Died Nov. 16,1974 at Loma Rica Ranch. Broodmare sire of Dancer's Image.
