Smuggled through German blockades as a weanling and imported to the U.S. Claimed at 2 by Horatio Luro for Audrey Emory and Prince Dimitri Djordjadze for $2500. The Hancocks bought him in 1943 and stood him at their Ellerslie in Virginia until 1946 when he moved to Claiborne. He had the unique ability to correct almost any leg or soundness problem in the mares he bred. Carried the X Factor heart. Princequillo died of a heart attack in 1964 and is buried at Claiborne Farm.
