The Taffolet or Morocco Barb was at stud in England at around the turn of the eighteenth century. His most important achievement was in siring Tregonwell’s Natural Barb Mare who became the founder of Family No. 1, the most prolific female line family in the stud book, through her unnamed daughter by the Byerley Turk.
