Place's White Turk is probably foaled 1663c. After Rowland Place dies in 1676 Place's White Turk is probably bought by James Darcy, becoming known as Darcy's White Turk. In support of Place's White Turk and Darcy's White Turk being the same horse, no daughter of one was ever mated with a daughter of the other
