Thanks. I knew conformation can cause it of course, much the same as we are if we are flat footed, etc. I was just wondering about certain lines of horses seeming more suscpetible.

Actually I was raised in Raymond, so whatever side Elliot hospital is on! I moved away from there early on, and lived in Gilford til I was 13, then moved west.

Thanks! Her name is Rosie's Wish, and the trainer unloaded her on a thoroughbred farm here that takes in all of them from the area for stabling. Kind of a respite place from when they aren't training or racing. They know I will take in the ones that no one wants rather than them going to auction.

Does it seem that a horse's line can produce horses that are more susceptible to breaking a sesamoid , or any other bone for that matter? I am new here, and wanted to say hi. I recieved a rescue mare this past spring, and plan on breeding her.
