European horses too soft/slow for dirt

Whats the point o the breeders cup? Dirt is the surface that most of the greatest American horses act best on so why have a world championship in the USA that provides European trainers with huge prize money for NOT taking on America's best? Surely Royal Ascot is the place to find a turf champion no...

Would a mare by Champs Elysees go well with a stallion out of a daughter of Dansili?

Re: X-factor stallions

It seems to me that the x factor theory is still well regarded. I hadn't realised it was categorically debunked. I'm sure what your selling is scientifically proven beyond all doubt. Thanks for selling it to us.

Re: Shamardal on the Brink of Key Season?

Dubawi is doing well but I don't think he is a far better stallion than Shamardal. The idea that he is as godd as Galileo is a little far fetched. I like Shamardal more than Dubawi. I think he will be a far better sire of sires (time will tell of course), and his stock are more precocious than Dubaw...

Re: Red Rocks

I have seen a few of his yearlings and they were'nt great. Neeeds to be 3k in europe for a few national hunt types. He would get a few mares that way.

Re: Shamardal on the Brink of Key Season?

In my opinion, the best sire in Europe other than Galileo. If he got Galileo's mares then he could be as good as him.
Giants Causeway is not as fashionable as he might be in Britain which will have effected the qualit of Shamardal's mares initially.

Elusive Quality with Storm Cat Mares

Hi

I have noticed that crossing EQ with SC mares gets a lot good horses. Is this a significant trend or is it just the quantity of them racing that has drawn my attention to it?

Thanks

Heeraat

I have a mare that may suit this lad, but can such a moderate racehorse make it as a stallion?

hi Pitbull there are a number of duplications of some good horses in this pedigree but my rudimentary understanding of line breeding suggests it is not a very balanced pedigree. I would be interested to know what some of the forum experts think. by the way its not often I see a son of Secretariat in...

Hi Patuxet I did look at Lord Shanakill and liked the things you highlighted. My concern was that using a MrP line stallion with a MrP line broodmare has not proven too successful in the UK. Am I right to be concerned? LS is a good looking stallion and is as you say in the same price bracket. As a m...
