denise, can you help me out with things like, the mother didn't demostrate energy/speed herself, but is able to pass it on. How is that? A different example, I had a season to St. Jovite but was told he dragged his mares down. When a sire earns that reputation did he not earn it or were the mares of...

It takes two to tango, not sure why you are such a willing partner when you're such a horrible dancer. You need to send a message to the moderator that you are being harassed by another poster instead of what you do. Makes you look bad. Whirlaway-----Pitiful. Because you can doesn't mean you should.

denise, it probably does merit some discussion. How do I know how much energy my mares have? can you break this down for a not so scientifcally inclinded person such as myself. I have heard stuff like 55% mare 45 % sire contibutions but put some fact into it so I have a better idea of the dam side v...

Thanks for the comments. Go For Gin was a good race horse and has Tudor on the dam side as well. I was looking at pedigrees for another mating post and ran across Rollicking. He in turn produce a winner named King's Nest. From what I can tell King's Nest has been pensioned (obscure google page that ...

Pete, Since you mention that werk advertises responsibly I thought I would mention (unless I read without total comprehension) werk is a proponent of less linebreeding within the first four generations and breeding lines as Louis states, that have an affinity for each other. I think in long run this...
