Jeez, 44 races with only 3 times in the money!!! Any ideas as to why he'd be run so long ( sounds like til 5?) with only 3 times in the money? Was he owned/trained by the same person for much of the time? He's now 6 and retrained as a hunter, I'm looking at him for my daughter but would like to know...

WOW! I went ahead and pulled his lifetime starts from equineline and I'm assuming that is probably what you were looking at? Such a strange race record, as you point out. 19 starts, 4 wins and no place or show except for the lone turf place. Several races where he "stopped" or "did not finish".... a...

Funny about Oscar Zee, he raced 18 times on dirt and had the four wins but didn't finish second or third at all. His lone second place finish was in his only grass race. That does seem really odd....would like to see the company he was in for the wins vs the ones where he was out of the money. I rem...

Thank you so much for the information! He is actually a year older than we thought, coming 17, but amazingly enough, still going strong.
Is there any way to tell how many years he raced? My guess would be 2 from the number of starts, or possibly 3.

My daughter is leasing an older (15?) OTTB for Pony Club. He's a wonderful old guy and I'd love to find out more about his pedigree and or race/record. He is tattooed but it is difficult to read.
