Re: Kentucky Derby 2022

Bill from Wa is smiling! 2nd best Conduit Mare Profile in the field. My “no chance” horses finished 9th, 17th and 20th.

Re: Kentucky Derby 2022

The value in my "no chance" list is to identify horses that I feel have no chance of even hitting the board. Most of my decision is based on the Conduit Mare Profile, originated by Bill from Wa quite a few years ago. Identifying horses with "no chance" allows one to concentrate m...

Re: Kentucky Derby 2022

Bill from Wa would certainly agree with Cyberknife!!! His Conduit Mare Profile is ridiculous!!! Even more so than Bill's pick of Animal Kingdom a few years back. His CMP resembles a European steeplechaser. After him, I think Taiba has the best Conduit Mare Profile. Will be coming out with my "n...

Re: Bolo Retired

Does seem strange to geld him, even after he had proven himself on the track....he could've made way more money for his handlers in the breeding shed than on the track. There must be something else going on that we aren't aware of ......

Scratch Fees

How frequent does it happen that a "scratch fee" is assessed to an owner of a horse? What conditions need to be met in order for a "scratch fee" to be assessed? Does the scratch fee vary from track to track? Does anyone happen to know what the the scratch fee is at Ellis Park and...

Re: Santa Anita

They definitely did something to slow down the track as all the dirt races were quite slow.....on a track that usually has very fast times. 1:36+ wins the dirt mile!!!

Re: Breeder's Cup

I don't think McKinzie will win. Vino Rosso and Code of Honor look to have the best pedigree for the distance. My "no chance" list includes Math Wizard, Seeking the Soul, Yoshida, Elate and Higher Power. Just hoping/praying for no injuries mostly though.

Re: Derby

Since there is a LOT of money involved in this ruling, who stands to gain? Obviously the few who bet a 65-1 across the board and possibly even fewer in exotics.. After those folks, who profits from this decision? On another note, Bill from Wa would've loved the outcome as CH had maybe the best Condu...

Re: The 2017 GR I Kentucky Derby

My annual "NO CHANCE" list. Tapwrit, Untrapped, Irap, Sonetteer. I'll be surprised if the luke warm favorite, Always Dreaming wins. I think the race may unfold like the Oaks yesterday and a horse with 10-1 odds or longer wins.

Re: The GR I Dubai World Cup

I think all the times in all of the races were slow. I know there was some very stiff winds but even so, I think both the turf and dirt tracks are just slow.....

Re: The 148th Running of The Belmont Stakes

I like Exaggerator, Governor Malibu and Suddenbreakingnews. For the long shot, I think Trojan Nation is the best of the 30-1 horses. Those with no chance are Destin, Cherry Wine, Stradivari, Forever D'Oro, Creator and Gettysburg.
