Breeders' Cup Juvenile: A Wide Open Affair

In my last of four articles featuring value plays in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile races, I look at the Breeders' Cup Juvenile, where the favorite may go off at odds of 4/1. This is a good betting race, and there is a lot of value to be found here. Let's take a look. http://regalbloodlines.com/2015/10/...

In 2014, Take Charge Brandi shocked horse racing fans everywhere when posting a front running victory in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies. Songbird and Rachel's Valentina will be heavy favorites in this year's race. Who play's the spoiler role? http://regalbloodlines.com/2015/10/23/breeders-cup-ju...

Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf: Finding Value

This is my 2nd piece on finding good prices in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile races. Here I've written about the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf. This race has been won 5 out of 7 times by American horses, so don't overlook a filly that catches your eye at attractive odds. Keep in mind that there's ...

Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf

I am going to look at the four juvenile races at this year's Breeders' Cup at Keenland, and see where there is value to be found. In all Breeders' Cup races, you have the best and brightest competing, so you will never find better odds for some of these horses. With 2-year-olds, you never know which...

Runhappy

Runhappy is a very talented horse. His King's Bishop was truly a spectacle. But he would have never ran in and won the race if it wasn't for the smart handling by his connections to get him there. Here's the story.

Re: Top 5 Value Sires

I know. They have both made big comebacks. I'm thrilled because I loved what they accomplished on the racetrack.

Re: Top 5 Value Sires

Thank you! Street Boss is probably my favorite one, but Afleet Alex has really been coming on strong this past two years. Jump Start is a good value sire as well.

An Education On Japan

Bill Mott has had a great July with late-developing Three-Year-Olds winning stakes races. He's hoping the trend can carry over into August when Japan runs in the $600,000 Grade 2 Jim Dandy Stakes this Saturday. Here is a look at this up and comer horse. http://regalbloodlines.com/2015/07/26/an-educa...

Re: Promising 2-Year-Old Fillies

I should have definitely mentioned Ballet Diva. She broke her maiden as the even-money favorite from the one-hole to win going away. Then in the Cassidy Stakes, she beat the boys time by 1.49 seconds. She is out of stakes placed Dame Sylviogulhen, who was stakes placed, and her family traces back to...
