Actually Shergar's Best was Red Vein's broodmare sire. Be that at as it may, the connection is still there.

I do remember seeing Shergar's Best but saw it in an Emerald Downs program for which the son of this horse not sure could have been male or female but the horse's name was Red Vein. I be lieve the trainer is Jerry Hollendorfer. I think this is what I saw for a trainer. Thanks for asking and hope you can find an answer. This must be tough cause no one seems to know a thing yet.

Hey Louis, I am trying to find a pedigree ona horse that ran or was gonna run at Longacres in 1976 or 1977. He was a 3 yr old and his name is or was Prevalent Prince. Question on this topic. I know nothing about buying, or training racehorses just am a huge fan. But who's say is it when you know the horse is not performing well. Does the owner overrule the trainer or does the trainer tell the owner sure the horse is ok when he clearly is not. Is the vet invovled ...
