Re: How to find out what a TB you bred and sold was named?

I used this link with great success multiple times. But for some reason one of the named foals does not appear, only her oldest progeny opens right up to her Equibase page like it's the only one on record. I wonder if Equibase has changed this link a bit recently?

Greenpointcrusader

Greenpointcrusader, a full brother to Algorithms. I saw him today at Ocala Stud and noted a super shoulder layback and good size. What are people's thoughts on him as a FL sire?
I have NG season to him I am thinking of moving, as he will not work with my mare.

Repent is sold to Trinidad

I am sad to see him go. He is still well respected here in FL, although he covers fewer mares in a rising commercial market. I wonder if the thought was to help make his son, Crown of Thorns, more marketable? http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-racing/articles/83668/florida-stallion-repent-sold-to-trini...

He's amazing! How can he look so correct behind? I am a sucker for a good rear!

I have not yet listed the mare I wished to use. Therefore, I can still list who I want. If I had purchased another mare, which I was considering, I could have used it on her. That is not in the cards right now.

Glad to be back!

I locked myself out of the PQ a few years ago and just settled for cruising the website. However, I am feeling the urge to participate once again, so got myself reconstituted thanks to Roguelet's intervention. <grin> Thanks, Roguelet! Good to see some old members still on the forum. Miss some others...

Love that Rahy filly! What a gorgeous walk and neck set; two qualities I look for in a nice horse. Congratulations on both - two good girls

Re: Brushed Bayou died this morning.

So very, very sorry to hear of your loss, Dray. I too lost the horse of my heart last June just two weeks after foaling to colic (ruptured) - I know that loss and lost feeling. I also posted here and found a lot of solice from the people on this board. The baby WILL keep you busy, particularly if yo...

Mood Swings, I thought I had written here as your post struck such a strong chord with me. We lost our mare last June and the heartache was almost unbearable. It is always a risk in breeding, but somehow you don't expect it to hit home. We still have our filly. In that, we were more fortunate. I wis...

Pics of Indian Ocean and Put it Back

I adore both of these horses and would have used Put it Back in a heartbeat a couple of years ago, if I had a mare that would fit.

I did use Indian Ocean and got a lovely, correct colt who is now two. I have high hopes for him this year....

Act Of Duty - Sire Potential?

I don't know specifically of physical issues at the track, however I assumed that was the case as he missed his entire 4 yr old year before his one start at 5 and subsequent retirement. I need to find that out for myself if no one here knows the details. What would people offer on breeding recommend...

Act Of Duty - Sire Potential?

Guess I should clarify that number in parenthesis, regarding the number of mares bred. That was the number for 2008, not his entire stud career!

Act Of Duty - Sire Potential?

I would like opinions on Act of Duty (Mr. Prospector X Nuryette by Nureyev) who stands at Bridlewood Farm in FL. He seems to be getting a decent number of mares (62) with his stellar pedigree and $3.6 Million yearling purchase price. His pedigree is gorgeous, but his own race record was sketchy at b...
