Thanks! Warrior's Reward is still at WynOaks. Very good point about the distance; I will take a closer look at him. I initially leaned more to Weigelia because (IIRC) Warrior's Reward's AEI is pretty significantly below his CI, which always gives me some trepidation, while Weigelia has improved some...

David Dink looked at this in some detail at his Boojum's Bonanza blog. There certainly is a relationship, though if I recall correctly the sires don't really tail off in general until 15+ years at stud.

That's a very nice mare - congrats! If the stud fee were no object, I would send her to Candy Ride. He's crossed very well with mares from Storm Cat and his sons, perhaps helped out because he brings Blushing Groom on the bottom (which has a long-known and very successful nick with Storm Cat and Nij...
