Re: Longchamp the Arc Weekend

I remember that in the beginning breeders were disappointed in Sea the Stars' offspring, since they were not early. The Arc winner is a fine example.

Re: Arc 2021

Hi Taffy, May the best horse win, I saw Frankie yesterday winning at Newmarket on board Trawlerman poetry in motion...such a pity not to see him any more soon. He has ''hands'', not many jockeys have those skills. Desperate when a horse stops, they use the only thing they think will help: the whip a...

Chaldean became second in the St. James' Palace Stakes. There are still a few chances....Frankie will ride Saga for the KIng & Queen in the Wolferton Stakes.

Re: Frankie Dettori

it seems to me that the runner-up in this Derby is again a big outsider, I've seen many Derby's but this is often the case. Is it because of the track? Carlingford Castle was second to the mighty Shergar in 1981. I was listening then to the radio at the office (nothing else) with the chief editor. S...

Re: Royal Ascot Week 2021

Saw a picture of Stradivarius at the stud. He looks awesome, like he could come back for another run.

I wouldn't be so sure about that...he's too fond of his new career.

Re: Frankie Dettori

Frankie got his revanche for the last performance with Chaldean, when he got bumped. https://www.racingpost.com/news/reports/frankie-dettori-unseated-from-favourite-chaldean-at-the-start-as-isaac-shelby-lands-dramatic-greenham-aH1Xc0v3CQsD/?_sgm_campaign=product&_sgm_source=N168889%7Cbrand&_...

Re: Frankie Dettori

I was shocked to read this, but there is always a time to go. It was a secret dream of mine to see him ride one or
more of Enable's offspring, but this will not happen now unfortunately.

Re: Arc 2021

Great race, awful circumstances, rain, rain, rain. Alpinista is a worthy winner, too good for Vadeni and Torquator Tasso, who got a wonderful ride from Franky Dettori. First Arc winner for Kirsten Rausing and trainer Sir Mark Prescott. Both are not exactly new in the racing scène. Mrs. Rausing alrea...

Re: Ahonoora and Habitat/Sir Gaylord

Hello Bettina, Well, it was a good week for Ahonoora's descendants, even though you have to look a long way back nowadays. Here's another one: Absolutelyflawless a 2yo By Ribchester - Key Light (Acclamation) (4x5). She won her first two races and the way she did it, she will improve. Something percu...
