I agree with all of you that say JC needs to update their thoughts on color genetics. That filly is definately a maximally expressed Sabino. AQHA is not a lot better. However, they have increased the number of choices allowed for roans i.e. bay roan, blue roan (black), red roan. They still don't get...

Doesn't the Jockey Club have a color choice of Palomino? No I don't think bays look at all like buckskin. There is a very distinct color difference. The color doesn't just pop up. If a horse really had the dilute gene one parent has to have the gene. If they have it, it will be expressed except if i...

Louis - Boswellia is an herbal pain reliever...which leaves me wondering what (if any) effect the rest of the ingredients have. There have been studies with just Glucosamine Sulfate that show limited if any effect when compared with placibo in a double blind study with 1500 subjects over a several y...

I have had some experience with Beet Pulp. After doing some research it digests like hay, has 10% protein, but is low in starch, is higher in calcium than phosphorous so it won't play havac with the CA:PH ratio. So you have calories without the dangers of grain. If you can get the shreaded Beet Pulp...

I never fail to use the scientific methods so I know what's happening inside. But last year I added a product from a comany that is making non-drug therapy products. I used their basic product and their mare fertility product on an 18 year old maiden mare and a 24 year old mare with inflammation iss...
