Apparently, there has been some measuring going on. Compare to secretariat and man o' war. There are other articles, I just need to find them. Here is one below. Also, I know somebody who counted strides and steps. I'll have to find it. It was quite mind-boggling. I'll post that when I find it, too....

Heck, I think Careless Jewel might beat both Z and Rachel.

Chef de race gave her a -91 PF. I haven't seen one of those in a while!!!!! You can comb the PFs and not see one like that.

Rachels was -75 in Mothergoose, -81 in Ky Oaks, -61 in Preakness, and -58 in the Fantasy.

Does anyone know if Susan Gannon has fallen on personal tragedy, business wise or health wise? Otherwise, I find it somewhat odd that Maggie Moss had to put up $5,000 to retire this horse. Jacobsen only had the horse since the very end of 2008. Gannon had him since 2000. From the NYTimes article, it...

I love Rachel and all, but WHEN is she ever going to face the best female/race horse in the country: Zenyatta? It seems that they keep coming up with excuses on both sides why they won't meet. . I guess I don't get the clamoring for this. They both have such completely different running styl...

MTB has lost belmont and he has lost to a girl girl in Preakness..he was just not good enough It appears nobody else, other than MTB, was good enough to not only run in all three races (other than FP), but to be in the money in all three races. He didn't duck any races. And hit the board in all of ...

Mr. Hot Stuff. I'm in love with this horse's breeding. Problem is, not much experience and not much on dirt. Played him in the Derby. IF he ran to his breeding, it would be all over, just like the other Tiznow did last year. :) Lemon Drop Kid (Charitable Man) not too shabby either. Hope I'm not the...

It needs to be real, the horses need to race, and in the end there is either a winner or there isn't. How can it be "real" if the connections just "cherry pick" one race out of the 3 race series? I don't expect to ever see another TC winner in my lifetime, and this is just another reason I won't..

My emotional self is with Karen. My practical side is with BDW. :D I sure would feel a little better if RA runs in the Belmont. Otherwise, I kinda wonder why Jackson would just enter her in "one" TC race.... it's sort of an odd thing to do in a race that is a SERIES race . I guess to me, if the hors...

Re: m

It's as simple as Mike Smith, a business man, staying in business. Well, supposedly our TC races are suppoosed to be something special. , If this is the way we treat our Kentucky Derby winner, and it's all just "business as usual", then I'm not going to bother with it next year. If it's gotten to t...

yet no one said anything about carl when he said it was "no point" in running in the belmont? Since the first of april this filly has ran in the fantasy, the oaks, and the preakness... in a span of what.. 6 weeks? It has nothing to do with being equal and has everything to do with shooting for bigg...

I still think thats wrong, if you want equality you gotta do what others are doing, carty the same weight. But unfortunatly its not equal. I fully understand why the owners of the colts would complain. And Im a fillly owner. 100% agree. All I heard from the people who think fillies should be racing ...

But the three races are also there to determine who is better. Well that's sort of my point. How will we determine who is better if they don't continue to run against each other? If RA begs off the Belmont, what would be the point of MTB going? He's got to be one tired little horse after all this, ...
