Where is Lattice?

Watching the success of Blame made me wonder what ever happened to the Arch son Lattice?

I was hoping someone would ask the Claiborne folks at the post race news conference if they would offer a season to Blame for Zenyatta just to see the reaction.

I noticed that under medication for Nicanor they listed FTL. Pardon my ignorance, but what does that mean?

The established pattern seems to be to send a sire out of the country without ample time to prove himself. If they were to move to Italy, chances are, one would have a big runner.

It just seems that that is how things go for Claiborne.

Best news I've heard in a long time. Maybe During or Strong Hope could fill in for him in Italy for 2009.

I noticed that the Darby Dan website has taken down information on Saarland. Has he been sold too?

I am anxious to see what kind of mares he gets. Any ideas beyond mares with strong butt muscles.

At least TGM's little half sister (Coat the Cubes) is beating his two year old record. She just finished 6th in a MSW at Philadelphia Park and earned $350. This should help TGM's stud fee.

Halo still had lots of attitude while at Stone Farm. You could not have paid me to go near that stall door. Drone was a bad actor. According to the grooms, he would take a chunk out of you if he had the chance. Tom Rolfe was to be left alone while out in his paddock. When I visited Darby Dan & a...

Maybe you missed a bargain. Could have been an interesting pinhook if they had a decent pedigree and conformation.

Flatter had 1 winner and 2 seconds from three runners yesterday. One of the seconds was Bold Child in a stakes. So far Flatter now has 6 winners (including So. America) of more than $100K. He is ahead of the similarly bred Mineshaft ($100K fee) at this point in the year. I think Flatter is worth the...

I vote for Claiborne. You can always pick those out in a crowd.
